At Slough Baptist Church we have the privilege of being a large worshipping congregation, which is
encouraging when we meet together. However, we do realise that it can be hard to get to know people.
Even if you sit in the same seat for three weeks, you may end up sitting next to three different people!
For this reason our Home Groups and other small groups are very important. In smaller groups of people we can get to know and trust others in the fellowship, and really feel that we belong. There are plenty of small groups to choose from, and details of where and when they meet can be found on the poster in the foyer.
A Home Group consists of about a dozen people who meet to
pray, study the Bible and spend time
together. Anyone is welcome at any group. Most Home Groups meet
on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, usually twice
a month. Details are on the weekly news-sheet
available on Sundays.

different questions about faith in God + relate them 2 real life thru
looking at the Bible.
It meets every couple of weeks from 7:30-9pm @ 31 Haymill Rd + involves
stacks of cookies, games, discussion + (even more importantly than the cookies) the PULSEating Word of God.

Community Bible Study UK is a non-denominational
independent Christian ministry dedicated to providing accessible,
in-depth Bible study in a supportive group setting, which is open to
everyone, men and women of all ages. It provides a simple four-step
approach to studying God's word.
The aim of CBS study is for members to be confident in reading and understanding the Word of God and through sharing their discoveries become excited about scripture. With understanding comes application to daily life and real change. God's Word understood has the power to transform lives.
This CBS class meets on Monday mornings at the church between 09:45 and 11:30 during term time. We can provide a creche on request for those wanting to attend with children who are not at school. For the academic year 2018 to 2019 we are studying the book of Acts. If you want to find out more about the class then please or to find our more about CBS UK take a look at their website.
A typical evening starts with chatting and games, we then spend some time looking at the bible on different topics relevant to youth today. We also do trips including a weekend away, a Christian festival in the summer and sometimes a mission trip abroad.
So come and join us term time Sunday evenings from 6-30pm to 8.30pm. We'd love to meet you
